Weekend Bostonblogging: Two dog night.

Went down to Altadena Valley Animal Hospital with Jenna yesterday . . . and, as threatened, came home with a second Boston terrier.

The new guy's name is Champ.

More pictures to follow eventually.

Lovely! One day, I hope to follow your lead, which may be the first time I've admitted as much ...

Awesome, how is Jenna taking to him?

Pretty good so far -- she's holding her own in tugs-of-war and rasslin' matches and whatnot, which I figured she would. She's 16 pounds of fury, that one.

Now if only she could teach him to stop pooping on the floor.

That's awesome. I love Boston terriers, but they drive my wife crazy. Too much energy, she says.

I love the black around his eyes. It's like he's wearing a mask. Got any details on him such as age?

Congrats again.

Congrats on the new family member!
And your family better step it up and come through with another UGA sweater for Champ!

I like the genetically predisposed look of worry on their cute little faces. More than any other breed, a Boston's face can express laughter one moment and nagging anxiety the next.

And Doug, I know you like David Mamet. Here's an interview with him in the AAS.

Yeah to the new rescue pup! If you liked having one, you will love having a pair (or a trio).

Not sure if you did this with Jenna, but you may consider crating and/or umbilicial training to help with housebreaking, especially with adult dogs.
