Seeing Georgia in the headlines during the off-season is a mixed bag for Bulldog fans. Sometimes it's good; other times it's not good at all. So with that in mind, I'm still trying to decide what to make of this.
See that third headline under "Top Stories"?
Now, the story doesn't say exactly who was responsible for the downing of the two Russian planes. If this was the heat-of-the-moment retaliatory action of a drunk Georgia player angry about getting kicked out of a bar downtown, then we could be in a heap of trouble here.
But if it wasn't, then it's possible that this is another one of Mark Richt's craaaazy motivational tricks -- in which case look out. Auburn fans, y'all got all offended by our black jerseys and our Soulja-Boying on the sidelines, but how do you like these apples? And you, Urban Meyer -- you can keep whining all you want about The Celebration, but we bet you're thinking twice about boarding the Florida jet for your next recruiting trip, huh?
If we're not afraid of Vladimir Putin, we're sure as shit not afraid of you guys. Bring. It. On.

Doug is still drunk from last night.
What actually happened is a UGA freshman on a scooter went the wrong way, and the ACC cops responded with the tact and discretion we've come to expect...by launching surface-to-air missiles.
Holy crap, did you know we have a freshman DB named Rambo? We should have expected this!
Ooh, but we also have a freshman DB named "Commings." And you know what that sounds like.
I'm not liking this. Not one bit.
Evil Richt strikes again.
dougisthesoulmachine? really?
I mean, the Chancellor thing is reasonable cute/clever/whatever. Let's not get carried away.
Russia always get's all excited when they think someone else is #1.
Georgia will put them down just like Ronnie did when they tried to flex their muscles by in the 80's.
If they feared "Star-Wars" program what do think they'll do when they see Curran and Elerbe?
Did anyone really "fear" the Star Wars program (other than those of us who were freaking out over the money)?
Doug, how am I supposed to end my week without knowing what's on your iPod. Don't leave me like this.
Matt Stafford was responsible for both shoot downs, courtesy of his cannon. Giggity Goo.
And now they're only four hours from Athens!!
