Best neighborhood ever.

This apartment complex went up a couple miles from my parents' house in Columbus this past year. I've never been inside, so I can't verify whether the name is true, but still, it sounds awesome.

Um. Like many of your obscure references, I DON'T GET IT.

Please explain.

That really is beyond words. Makes you wonder who was in charge of the name. I want some promotional literature...

For six months worth of rent - it's certainly worth it.

Could be the best 6 months of your life.

I'd rent there, and I live in Tennessee. Awesome.

I am very interested. I might need to pull Columbus up on Monster.com and get serious about this thing...

A cougar is a woman over forty who is sexually attracted to younger men, often times in their early twenties. These women are referred to as cougars because they are thought to stalk their younger male prey like predators. The term originated in Canada, but has since spread to the United States. These women are generally very aware sexually, are attractive, look younger than their chronological age and prefer the peace they believe a younger man can give them in carnal activities. It is said that every man should try a cougar at least once in his life.

Doug,

long time reader, first time commentor...

Yes, there is indeed a "cougar village" in Columbus...I believe it is student housing for CSU...the cougars.

I am in the construction supply business, fairly new to Columbus, and this was one of the first jobs we supplied materials.

No word yet if this complex will house any staff from the Platinum Club, but it certainly would be appropriate.

Sorry Doug, but I believe the above commenter is correct. Pretty sure it's student housing for CSU students.

Yep, it's student housing. Down the the street from my daughter's apartment.

And yes, Columbus State's mascot is the Cougar.
