(Apologies to your Mom.)

Your Tech/UGa blogs are well-written (yes, some of us tech boys read stuff other than calculus or fantasy science fiction) and quite enjoyable. Especially after we are now NCAA gridiron world champions, most powerful football geniuses of the free world, and re-painting the bottoms of our toilet bowls with portraits of UGA VII.

Mr. Richt and all members of the Bulldawg Nation, meet the instruments of your doom: Paul Johnson and the spread offense.

This year's game was the stuff of blockbuster movies. Bulldogs out to a quick start, rain and mist in the enemy's lair, a spurt of old gold and white points right out of the halftime locker room, a muffed punt catch, and a neck-and-neck run (get it - run? heh, heh) up to the finish, where, of course, the good guy Yellow Jackets win.

My GT alum son was ecstatic; my UGA alum son was pacing the floor screaming for Willie Martinez's hide; and my UGA alum daughter-in-law was reverting to her Maryland Terrapin heritage.

Thank God for continuance of The Drought.

See you next season during the REAL rivaly week. And, in keeping with your stereotype of Tech fans, let me be the first to say with a big-ole grin, "Wait 'till next year, little doggie!"Southern Mountain Boyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12037965378007403200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-88489787844976861492008-11-29T20:19:00.000-05:002008-11-29T20:19:00.000-05:00Must suck being a being a mutt fan today.Must suck being a being a mutt fan today.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-39207484444283917752008-11-29T16:27:00.000-05:002008-11-29T16:27:00.000-05:00The preseason no. 1 does not have a quality win at...The preseason no. 1 does not have a quality win at the end of the regular season.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-68773667738128787182008-11-28T21:48:00.000-05:002008-11-28T21:48:00.000-05:00Anybody else notice that SI's Cheerleader of the W...Anybody else notice that SI's Cheerleader of the Week this week is a UGA girl?

Yikes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-69762794904480027172008-11-28T20:41:00.000-05:002008-11-28T20:41:00.000-05:00"Well, I'm girding my loins for something that loo..."Well, I'm girding my loins for something that looks a lot like the Kentucky game..."

So that's what Biden was warning us about?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-82115278180882872892008-11-28T11:56:00.000-05:002008-11-28T11:56:00.000-05:00Does Nikki Meyer (Tech "women's volleyball" commit...Does Nikki Meyer (Tech "women's volleyball" commit) not qualify as an associated hottie? Or is fifty the highest it's gone all year? Thanks for the preview; I'm with you on wanting Tech the most every year. Also, if the Dawgs go 11-1, the "1" better not be Tech. Aren't those defenses putting up solid numbers against the same anemic ACC offenses that GT has faced all year? I'm sure that BC has a solid defense, but isn't that kind of like winning gold at the special olympics?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
