I mean, one shouldn't complain when others float your boat, but when it's all hot air so far, the integrity of that ranking really is suspect.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-22413913842503586722007-10-15T18:48:00.000-04:002007-10-15T18:48:00.000-04:00Still not seeing a lot of love for Arizona State.Still not seeing a lot of love for Arizona State.Erik Tylczakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17301913715276280809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-89197409744926755132007-10-15T17:18:00.000-04:002007-10-15T17:18:00.000-04:00Outback bowl? At that rate, they'll free up a spot for Georgia.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-57695734951501600642007-10-15T10:03:00.000-04:002007-10-15T10:03:00.000-04:00Illinois lost to a really bad Iowa team. I don't ...Illinois lost to a really bad Iowa team. I don't know that I would put them ahead of undefeated Kansas who defeated Kansas State in Manhattan. Kansas State had Auburn (your #10) on the ropes (and by ropes, I mean had them beat late in the fourth before Quentin Groves devoured the entire K-State offensive line in one bite) in the Loveliest [sic] Village. They (K-State) also beat Texas (your #17) by 20... so Kansas isn't really all that bad.

At this point, ranking Wisconsin at all might be a sign of senility. The Badgers and Penn State are both 5-2, and Penn State just beat the Badgers by 31. Notable Wiscy wins include a 21 point win against Washington State (who just got blasted 53-7 by Oregon), a 7 point win at UNLV, a 14 point win against the Citadel, a 4 point win against Iowa, and a 3 point win against Michigan State.

But, uh, it's your poll. It's no worse than ranking Georgia ahead of Tennessee, which it seems every pollster in the Coaches' Poll has done.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14067664489479958253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-65515086509665561092007-10-15T09:25:00.000-04:002007-10-15T09:25:00.000-04:00In a word, yes.In a word, yes.Astronaut Mike Dexterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01498197770701096363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-71673816536579974642007-10-15T09:01:00.000-04:002007-10-15T09:01:00.000-04:00You forget somebody, or do you really think we're ...You forget somebody, or do you really think we're worse than Wisconsin, Texas Tech and Hawaii?Josh M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04054764121030646400noreply@blogger.com
