In fairness to Da Vinci, Berelli had not discovered the effects of high/low pressure so Da Vinci could have not designed in features (in this case blades) to generate the loft needed to fly. It stands though that Da Vinci's design by its inabilty to get off the ground was not a helicopter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-1167856500751233222007-01-03T15:35:00.000-05:002007-01-03T15:35:00.000-05:00...well let's see - the first documented helicopte......well let's see - the first documented helicopter design (Leonardo da Vinci) was human powered. As "motors" are defined as converting electrical energy, or fluid energy (petrol) to mechanical force, the invention of the motor-driven helicopter meant sufficient power was available for such matters of torque.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-1167829600632344452007-01-03T08:06:00.000-05:002007-01-03T08:06:00.000-05:00What other sort of heliocopter is there? What other sort of heliocopter is there?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11250715.post-1167765282816162472007-01-02T14:14:00.000-05:002007-01-02T14:14:00.000-05:00I don't know if you caught this, but Eugene Cernan...I don't know if you caught this, but Eugene Cernan looks like he's violating that globe.
